What the course is about

The subject explains basic concepts, hydrological and hydrogeological conditions and processes in nature, their mutual relations and roles in the water cycle. The objective is to have students familiarise themselves with fundamentals of hydrology and freshwater hydrogeology, qualitatively understand the essence of phenomena and processes and master basic computations related to simple practical applications, including protection of waters.
